TABC Fines Four Corners Brewing
Back in May, I mentioned that Four Corners Brewing was making a beer for Pecan Lodge BBQ, and wondered how they were able to get away with it. Apparently, I wasn't the only one. Shortly after the the article was published, a "citizen" lodged a complaint with the TABC.
The TABC investigated, and fined Four Corners $2000 for not getting label approval of the Boss Lady Rustic Red. They had sold the beer to a few select accounts, so they had not violated the provision that prohibits private label beer. But that darned label...!
