Paint Rock Bock NHC Score

Paint Rock Bock was the last beer in the flight, so I'm sure it suffered as a result of that. But it did score a 31!

Two of the judges said it had metallic flavors, and I noticed that when I reviewed it after getting my Bluebonnet scores. One judge didn't mention the metallic flavor. One of the metallic judges called it soapy. Soapy?

But all agreed, as I did, that this was out of style. One judge said, too complex for the style. And as is typical, one said more complexity would be appreciated.

So all in all, this one turned out to be a decent beer. I don't know that I would necessarily change anything, except the black patent.
