Contest Beer Update

I just opened a bottle of Peppercorn Rye-Bock version 1.

It's delicious.

There's a nuttiness in the aroma. A hint of maple syrup in the finish from the concentrated boil. It peppery and bitter. So, I guess we are sending it to Nationals. Maybe. If another bottle tastes good, perhaps.

I'm gonna get another one of those "Drink it first" comments on the Oktoberfest, though. It's all butterscotch.
