In her bid to become the next Governor of Texas, Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison has enlisted Houston beer wholesaler John Nau as "a chief fundraiser." Well, I guess that indicates where she stands on Brewery On Premise sales. . .

Sorry man, but Kinky dropped out today.
Can't blame Kay for campaigning where the money is right now, especially since Silver Eagle et al are huge contributors to Texas for a Republican Majority PAC. I guess vices are OK for Republicans, as long as they profit by them.
Practically every county in Texas has at least one distributor. They donate to both parties so the winner will be receptive to the distributor stands.
Never, ever assume one party is less greedy than the other. Politics is all about money. A Democrat will cash in just as quickly as a Republican. What you and I want only matters if we enclose a big check with our letter.
