Cooling Beer - Again!
Here's another way to cool beer quickly. Put a colander over a bowl, fill the colander with ice. Pour warm beer over the ice. Slowly.
I'm not sure that I will be trying this. It might water down the beer.

Good tip. I've done this ... the key, I think, is to plan on doing it before hand. That way you can leave out an equivalent amount of water, and make it up with the ice at the end.
Otherwise, as you say, it can get too watery.
